We know, it’s a big statement, but we stand by it! One of the unique features of unTill® is that is uses cluster database technology, which means that performance is optimized regardless of the network load. Every terminal works independently, but data is synchronized between the other terminals continuously. Because there is no central database, if one terminal goes off line the others continue working as if nothing has happened.
If the data goes into unTill® then we make it easy to get it out. All data is synchronized between terminals within 0.15 seconds, so you always have up-to-date information any time at any terminal or connected PC. We include a selection of standard reports for your convenience, or you can customize your own. Reporting can be previewed on-screen or sent to any printer on the network.
Built-in Text Messaging
No texting on the job… unless it’s with unTill®! It’s a great way to communicate with your staff. Send a message to everyone; groups, or to a single user. Leave a message for an employee to see when they clock in. Notify all servers of a mandatory staff meeting or an impromptu happy hour contest. The messages will be delivered wherever a user is logged in, both on terminals and handhelds. It’s as good as SMS without the cell phones!
The entire system can switch between English, Spanish, French, Dutch, German, and many other languages. On-screen button labels can display different languages depending on the user that is logged in. One language can be used for kitchen printers and a different language for printing the customer’s bill. Chinese characters are fully supported in unTill®. Ideal when the kitchen staff speaks a different language than the front-of-house staff. Foreign language capability is an unTill® trademark!
Automatically Change Items
unTill® can automatically change or block menu items at a certain hour or based on a custom schedule. For example, block alcohol orders after midnight to comply with liquor licensing laws; restrict orders to the kitchen after closing, or automatically adjust appetizer prices during happy hour on Tuesdays.
V.I.P Customer Accounts
Give your special guests and repeat customers full V.I.P. treatment. unTill® can identify customers based on loyalty cards, customer ID numbers (phone number for example), or any other unique identifier. unTill® also tracks balances for loyalty points, gift cards, and customer accounts. Easily generate invoices for customers who pay on account.
